Company History
Clippings and Photos about Technical Activities

We are now living in the era of fast-growing technology and
increasingly limited productivity. Comparing the current industrial
output with the market demand, we found that the industrial
productivity has already surpassed the actual demand in many a
field. As a result, direct competition between similar products
becomes more and more severe.

Severe competition leads to lower and lower industrial profits.
Although many enterprises enjoy a continuous increase in total
operation revenue, their profits remain the same, or even drop year
by year. Nevertheless, as the society’s aggregate demand is
expanding, the industrial output keeps climbing up. Where is the
way out? This is a question that concerns lots of enterprisers. The
answer is quite clear --- technology.

In a world moving forward so fast, we must abandon the concept of "Develop via Expansion merely", which
has been conditioned to traditional industry for so many years. We must recognize that wisdom is priceless
asset and technology is the first productivity. Expansion does not necessarily bring about increased profits
Only by combining the expansion with state-of-the-art technologies can we achieve high profits.

In the late 1980s, Hong Kong industry started to “go north for a growth”. At present, Hong Kong is also
faced with the problem of productivity limit, and competition against mainland companies, especially on some
relatively traditional products. Therefore, Hong Kong’s industrialists need to realize that only by learning and
mastering latest technologies can their businesses maintain continuous growth. Each enterprise, while carrying
out routine business, should set aside certain amount of resources for exploring, trying and testing various
kinds of related new technologies, as well as boosting technological reserve. Only by this way can enterprises
enjoy a robust and steady growth.

Owing to historical and geographical reasons, technological research in Hong Kong remains weak.
Although Hong Kong government has appropriated many resources for the universities to upgrade
technological research, when it comes to application study and development, which are directly related to the
productivity, Hong Kong is lagging far behind other countries and regions in the world. Over the last decade,
relying on our own very limited resources, our company has devoted itself to the research and development of
plastics technology. Thanks to the support from the industry, we survived. The industry has provided many
opportunities for us to test our research outcomes in the actual production. On many occasions, the industry
offered us invaluable practical knowledge, and helped us to narrow the gap between theory and practice. In this
sense, the industry has taught us very well.

So far, more than 100 enterprises in plastics industry have adopted dozens of basic technologies
introduced, developed and originated by the company. Over the past years, more than 2000 people in Hong
Kong have taken part in hundreds of seminars on plastic technology held by the company. For the industry to
further understand the technologies introduced, developed and originated by the company, we prepared this
document and sent them to various enterprises for reference.
